Ayurveda is a mind, body and spirit approach to health and wellness. It takes into consideration the whole individual and uses five sense treatments to maintain wellness, prevent illness and restore health. Addressing the senses, treatments may include diet, herbs, mantras, meditation, yoga, aromas, massage, colors, music, cleanses and other therapeutic lifestyle changes.
An Ayurvedic consultation focuses on the root cause of your health imbalance by understanding your unique dosha, and Ayurvedic Counselors work to restore balance and harmony to the mind, body and spirit. If you are already ill, Ayurvedic lifestyle changes can help you create the optimum environment in your body for healing to take place. As it helps you to take personal responsibility for your health, Ayurveda can support you in feeling better about life, with greater energy and enthusiasm.
Ayurveda Health Counselors at Yoga on High conduct Ayurvedic consultations to determine your unique constitution (prakriti), thereby identifying your natural state of balance and any imbalances you may have. Then you are given a detailed lifestyle program that not only includes foods and herbs, but also aromas, colors, massage, detoxification programs, yoga and meditation—all aimed at restoring or maintaining balance.
Ayurvedic consultations are now available. Please email email@example.com to set up an appointment.
