Lori Guth Moffett, RYT 500, is an Urban Zen Master Teacher and the Director of Urban Zen at Wexner Heritage Village (WHV), a senior-care facility that has embraced UZIT. She provides Urban Zen sessions to residents, hospice patients, their families, and the medical and support staff. She also supervises all the Urban Zen trainees who do their clinical hours at WHV. She teaches public Urban Zen classes at Yoga on High and is a yoga teacher and reiki master.
Lori discovered yoga in 1993 and deeply fell in love with the practice. Since then she has been on her mat nearly every day. Her big love is restorative yoga to soothe her mind, body and spirit. For Lori, time slows down and every cell is being re-calibrated, rejuvenated and replenished through her yoga practice. Her go to pose after a long day at work? Legs up the wall, with a few drops of a lemon on the soles of her feet. Lori believes we must care deeply for ourselves so we can care for the world in which we live.
Lori lives in Clintonville with her husband Jay and their dog, Lily Roo. In her spare time she enjoys reading, being in nature and cooking nourishing meals for family and friends.
